If starting a business makes you a slave to customers, accounting, lawyers, etc and buying real estate makes you victim to the next crappy tenant, then doesn't staying at a job make you a slave to the company? Also, savings does not give you time if you spent it trading for the money. In your retirement, you are simply living on the time you traded in your early years for the money you have now.
