Just some stuff you might wanna add in the future to get more engagement:

Add a subtitle beneath the title so that it baits the reader a bit more when they're just scrolling through Medium.

Also, I don't know if you can do it on an iPad, but if you write your articles on a laptop or computer and you use the website instead, there's like a little "+" button you can use to add a non-copyright picture from Unsplash so that it stands out a bit more.
